SafeSync and Windows - the perfect team

SafeSync is only available for Windows users: They can download SafeSync via the "Download Apps" tab in the cloud.

Our well-known Windows client will continue to be available to you. If you install the already available Sync Tool, your selected folder structure will be stored locally.
This way, you can also access your documents offline and edit them as usual.

How to work with SafeSync

Work flexibly & securely with SafeSync.
In our video below, the Sync Tool has been renamed to "Schmidt" using the branding function; if you do not use this function, "Schmidt" will be "leitzcloud" for you.

Uninstallation
If you already have our Sync Tool installed, you must uninstall it first. To do this, log out of the Sync Tool. Then you can uninstall it, and in the final step, you must delete the sync folder from your PC.
Installation
You can download SafeSync via your cloud. To do this, go to "Download Apps." Then install the "SafeSync Client."
Complete the installation process.
Login
Once the SafeSync client is installed on your computer, you must log in with your cloud credentials.
Then SafeSync can access your data.
Work Locally
You can now click on a file, which will then be opened and downloaded. You can edit the file locally.
The changes will be synchronized with the cloud.
Work Offline
If you store a file permanently locally, you also have offline access to it. To do this, simply "pin" it. Once the file is available offline, you will see a green checkmark next to the file.
View folder structure
With SafeSync, you have a complete view of your folder structure and can flexibly pin and remove folders and documents. This way, you can always store the files you need locally.

What do the different symbols in SafeSync mean?
